On Sunday, all of the American students in my OSK class went to Hamburg with the teachers. We started the day nice and early by being at the train station by 7 in the morning. After 2 hour train ride, we went to a place named "Miniture Wonderland." Miniture wonderland is a huge building that has cities or other things around the world, but built with miniture stuff. It had everything from the Grand Canyon, to an Airport, to German towns. Stuff moved around, and everything was so delicate and so small. After that we went down to the Harbor. There we had an early lunch. I had shrimp, fries, and a soda, but you could get anything you wanted... as long as it was fish related. We then went on a ferry tour. The tour was completly in German, so we didn't really get it, but it was still a good way to see everything. When the ferry tour was over we hopped on a short train, and landed in the middle of the city. There were churches everywhere, and best of all the Hamburg Town Hall. This thing was huge. We were given 2 hours to do what we wanted in Hamburg. My group went to the Rathaus (town hall) and multiple churches... or at least we think that's what they were, it seems like everything there looks like a fancy church. My group also went to a cafe and I ordered a white chocolate hot chocolate, mmmmmm. After that we all grouped up again, visted the Rathaus for the people who didn't go there, and then hopped on the train home. We got home about 9:30ish exausted and sad that we had to leave. It was tons of fun and I have plenty of pictures to show for that.
